Partridge & Blue An often forgotten cousin of the famous Partridge & Orange the Partridge & Blue was highly praised by Pritt and a great trout fly when the water was high and coloured. Sylvester Lister listed the Blue Partridge as the Gravel Bed Spider; interestingly the Blue Partridge is only one of a few of Lister's patterns that Edmonds & Lee did not include in "Brook & River Trouting".
