Broughton Point

A famous North Country wet fly for trout and grayling, invented in about 1830 by a Penrith tanner after whom it is named. He was a well-known angler on Ullswater and a very accomplished fly-tier. The Broughton Point is almost identical to that of the Bark Bloa, which is a well-known North Country fly pattern fished on the rivers Wharfe, Ribble and Aire. Available in sizes 14, 16,
