Originally conceived and tied by Frank Sawyer the famous River Avon Keeper, the Grey Goose Nymph is a partner for the Pheasant Tail Nymph and one of the oldest of modern nymphs, and is still one of the most popular and successful river and stillwater nymph patterns.

Like the Pheasant Tail Nymph, the Grey Goose Nymph is one of the classic patterns that will never go out of fashion - whatever the time of year and whatever the species of fish you are after. As the Grey Goose Nymph is weighted using copper wire it is perfect to fish on the point of a cast of three flies.
